Surroundings
Buching is a delightful, small town in Bavaria's largest nature reserve "Ammergebirge" and is one of the village that is within touching distance of Upper Bavaria and Tirol, the gateway to the eastern Allgäu. The village is located at around 850 meters above sea-level and is only 10 minutes away from Bavaria's largest wild river (Halblech). From the house there are trails to Ammergebirge, Tegelberg and Kenzengebiet and biking trails to the lakes and trails to the castles which are within easy reach.
In the Halblech community there are doctors, restaurants, grocery stores, tennis courts, a swimming pool, several lifts and a chairlift up Buchenberg (mountain of the town). In soothing peace, away from the bustling royal castles, you can enjoy the original rural atmosphere on the "Romantic Road". Welcome to the Allgäu holiday apartments.
